Information we use

Freoma stores account and invitation details, access requests, video preferences, conversations, story versions, generated images, narration, subtitles, videos and support reports. Technical records include production status, provider responses, usage and recovery actions. We use these to provide the workspace, generate videos, manage beta access and investigate problems. Authentication uses session cookies.

Services involved

Vercel hosts the website. WorkOS handles sign-in and invitations. OpenAI processes story and image requests. Speechify processes narration text. Trigger.dev runs background jobs and keeps operational records. Neon stores workspace records; Cloudflare R2 stores media and retained provider responses. Resend delivers configured access-request notifications.

Freoma requests that text responses are not stored as retrievable OpenAI responses. This does not mean that every provider keeps no logs or that zero data retention is enabled.

Retention and deletion

Active workspace content is kept until account deletion. Archiving keeps the conversation. Removing a conversation from the library removes its conversation record, but related production and recovery data can remain until account deletion.

After verifying an account-deletion request, we aim to remove its live-system data within 30 days. Access is suspended during removal. Backup copies and provider-held records follow their applicable retention settings. Shared identical media can remain where another account still needs it. Technical orphan files require separate reconciliation before a removal is considered complete.

Access, export and removal requests

During beta, an operator handles these requests. Signed-in users can report a request through the support panel in a conversation. Identity is verified before a private export is delivered or an account is removed. Operator export files are delivered securely and removed after delivery.
